Advanced Wet-Process Papermaking Technology
The production of ceramic fiber paper utilizes wet-process forming technology borrowed from advanced papermaking industries. Long, fine ceramic fibers are uniformly dispersed in a suspension. Through the action of special chemical additives (such as dispersants and binders), they are dehydrated at the wire end to form a wet felt, which is then pressed, dried, and cured by high-temperature heat treatment. The essence of this process lies in the precise control of fiber orientation, distribution density, and bonding strength. By adjusting the pulp concentration, wire speed, and pressure, different products ranging from paper-soft to having a certain stiffness can be obtained. This process ensures that the product is free from delamination and directional shrinkage, and that thickness tolerances are precisely controlled, achieving microscopic uniformity and macroscopic dimensional stability, laying the technological foundation for high-precision applications.
